One of the challenges of the development process was integrating the app with a robust search and filtering system that would assist in finding doctors across various categories and nearby locations.
Yet another complexity was incorporating audio consultation without resorting to any external platforms or links.We wanted to ensure that the consultation was secure and reliable.
We used technologies like Zend, PHP, and MySQL so the app could handle considerable data regarding medical professionals, their specialties, and locations and also provide accurate and relevant search results.
In addition, we refined the search algorithm for fast response times while accommodating various search parameters. These included specialty of the medical professional, distance from the user, availability, and user preferences.
Urban Health has a strong back-end and a highly responsive front-end to cater to users' needs. It is integrated with SMS and payment gateways, as well as Google Maps. After booking, users recieve confirmation and OTP for verification. Thus, the app facilitates seamless booking.
