KANKI - Connect Seamlessly with Service Providers

Overview

The KANKI app by Cypher Swift allows people to easily connect with a service provider of choice for agricultural tasks. No matter when or where the user wants to connect with a service provider, the app makes it possible.

With KANKI, people can select as many as five labourers and communicate their needs. The app is equipped with IVR technology and has many options to complete the booking and even cancel it when needed. 

KANKI is available in English and Telegu. The bilingual language support increases its accessibility to people who need agricultural labourers for various tasks.

The Challenge

One of the challenge we faced was that the IVR limited the settings for call flow. There was no means to find and take action based on the user's inputs over the call. Also, the consumers and service providers could not identify which booking ID was cancelled if they cancelled a booking. 

Another issue was that if the service provider on leg 1 had to disconnect the call, it ended the entire call altogether.

Our Approach

We thought hard to resolve the various challenges that arose in building the app. Our experts used the following approach:

  • We created a webhook to keep the user's input provided by a particular user over the phone.
  • Our team passed a URL with the user's message and dynamic booking IDs, which consumers were deleting, to help them understand.
  • We interchanged the initial connection from service provider to consumer to service provider. So, even if the service provider disconnected, the consumer would always be on call and provide the needed input.

The Solution

Our solutions were effective in creating the app we desired. Upon testing, we found out that KANKI could connect various service providers with labourers like agricultural equipment labour, technicians, and monthly labour in a hassle-free ways. 

The provider list changes according to the input provided by the user. Moreover, service providers can register and pick the services they are interested in providing consumers. The final product is also integrated with an agent app that stores the data of the service provider. 

The Impact

Our solution helps ease the issue of communication that arises when agricultural service providers want to connect with people who need their services. The easy-to-use app simplifies the entire process of getting any kind of work done by offering easy access to the service provider. Be it a farmer, manufacturer, monthly wage laborer, or construction company, KANKI gets you connected with them quickly.
