Gussman Technologies is a robust fleet management app. Through it, you you can view the current status of every vehicle on a map in real time. Additionally, you can track live vehicles and receive notifications when someone speeds over the speed limit or crosses a suggested geo-fence. The fuel status, fuel refilling, and fuel receipt numbers are all visible to the user.
Ensuring real-time data synchronization and cross-platform compatibility of the app were the two major challenges our development team encountered. The integration of APIs and SDKs from vehicle trackers to reflect real-time status, such as idle and hailing hours, is complex. Also, creating an iOS app required seamless integration with the existing backend infrastructure because the Admin Panel and Android application were already available.
Cypher Swift was able to overcome the key challenges of building the app above without compromising the accuracy of data. We were also able to develop the iOS app that ensures consistency in user experience, data flow, and feature parity across the iOS and Android platforms, all the while maintaining backend compatibility.
Our fleet management app allows instant tracking and notification. We have enriched it with various features makes fleet management hassle-free. These include simulation feature, through which the user can add a location where they would like to see the vehicle's simulation start and finish.
The application's immobilization feature enables users to start or stop a car. Also, the user can view events like geo-fence crossings and harsh breaks by using the Events feature. Features like polling, log reports, and fuel reports are integrated in the app.
The app has made the work of fleet managers easy. Our app has allowed fleet managers to optimize vehicle usage, reduce downtime, and ensure timely maintenance. This has resulted in more efficient fleet operations. Also, with alerts for critical events such as Ignition On/Off, Harsh braking, and Panic situations, fleet managers can respond quickly to emergencies, enhancing the safety of drivers and vehicles.
